The Botanical Garden of the University of Szeged invites interested parties for the tenth time this year to its event with a Mediterranean atmosphere, the Lavender and Rose Days.
During the two-day festival, spices and herbs that are good for both body and soul, lavender and rose, will be the protagonists. At informative presentations, you can learn about the natural possibilities of preserving our health; whether it's herbal medicinal teas, scented natural soaps, essential oils or syrups. We are also preparing high-quality cultural and musical concerts and entertaining children's performances.
At the same time as the programs, colorful and fragrant rose-lavender handicrafts and a plant fair will help us to take away special delicacies and memories in addition to the experience of the programs.

14.00 Smyrna orchestra - Mediterranean music concert
The band was founded in 2006. They draw their music from traditional sources: on the one hand, from the musical world of Turkish wandering musicians, dervish orders and the special atmosphere of the Ottoman Empire, as well as from the dance tunes of Southern Europe and the Balkans, playing Greek, Armenian, Macedonian, Sephardic, Provençal and Arabo-Andalusian music.
15.00 Jazzarosa band show
The band's repertoire includes sophisticated, melodic jazz standards that we have heard from many well-known artists (Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Norah Jones). The list of songs is enriched by well-known old Hungarian hits by Fényes Szabolcs and other excellent Hungarian composers, all of them also in jazz style.
17.00 Belmondo plays Beatles
The Belmondo plays Beatles project has reworked many songs from the early days of the Mushroomheads in such a way that they can also be found on a concert stage today. The conferences and spontaneous musical games between well-known song arrangements included in the concerts will convince even those who have not felt close to this musical world until now. At the concert, the band will of course spice up the Beatles songs with Belmondo hits.
Members of the band: Zoltán Czutor (vocals, guitar), László Szabó (guitar), Viktor Paczári (bass guitar), Ferenc Reggel (drums)
