Plant Day – Family day at the SZTE Botanical Garden

Saturday, May 20, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

We are joining the Fascination Plants Day international series of events with a truly meaningful and fun family day, where we welcome interested children and adults with demonstrations and games. The Department of Plant Biology, Department of Ecology of the SZTE, the Institute of Plant Biology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Interactive Nature Knowledge Center, Gabonakutató Nonprofit Kft. and civil organizations participate in the organization of the programs. With this day, we would like to draw attention to plant diversity, the extraordinary variety of plants and their importance in human life.
From 11:00 a.m., the Haramia Ensemble entertains the children, and after that, the tales of Mazsolka Mézes come to life in the interpretation of storyteller Ibolya Ács.
Visitors can once again choose among the artisans' products, and those participating in the family adventure tour can win a gift package.
